Hi we are the Field family my name is Jim Field and my wife's name is Sharlene we have 3 children Kath-lee, Robert & Thomas we all enjoy four wheel driving and camping.
Our main 4x4 is a 1986 Toyota hilux duel cab we have 2 of them.
The main one (Jim's) has a few modifications done to it
Just to name a few: - 2inch suspension lift 2inch body lift and 1inch shackle lift And front and rear ARB air lockers
Since the lockers have been fitted to the hilux, it has became a very capable vehicle as it was lacking in a few spots like up big uneven slippery hills
But it is all fun. I am starting to get used to the lockers.
In the motorex4x4 christmas club challenge I came second.
Previously I had only managed to get a third could have something to do with Sharlene not entering (she beat me last time I got third and she got second)
Sharlene has a 1984 hilux duel cab stock standard and she enjoys it when she can take it out and get it dirty.
We mainly take mine as it is built for 4x4ing.
